Where Is The Joy - Mohair Knit Cardigan

This is my second attempt at a cardigan. I loved the mohair heart cardigan I made last year, but it had its flaws. The long mohair would get caught on the zipper, having a zipper on a cardigan, using long strand mohair it was a good piece but inherently flawed and one day I will rework it, I took what I learned from making my first piece and applied it to this piece. This is a wide but short mohair cardigan it has 4 buttons, short strand mohair and chain stitch embroidery. The pattern I made originally for the Agony drop but ended up scrapping I thought it was good enough to use as a stand alone piece. This piece features a new motif, "Where Is The Joy I felt When I Was Young." To be entirely honest, probably since last September, I have been in a depressive phase in my life, I can tell when I am in a depressive phase by asking myself one simple question "Am I no longer enjoying the things I use to enjoy?" I love Get Some Sleep its my drive its my passion you guys are making clothes are the reason I get out of bed in the morning it's the reason why I brush my teeth and drink my coffee and put on cologne and face the world. I've been doing this for so long to me its like breathing oxygen around the end of last year I knew something was wrong I had finished designing Agony in August and it started production and no new ideas came in. I absorbed myself in escapism. I dated a girl in a different country, i drank more than I normally do, I played runescape excessively I was just passing the time waiting for new ideas to come by. I thought I was in a rut, I would think of themes and new motifs write them down and nothing would come of it I didn't have any clarity, through therapy, self awareness, and good friends I was able to push through and regain focus I feel that I am in new light and I am confident now and ready to put my heart and soul back into my work and through that I feel like I am in a new era of Get Some Sleep design and I am excited to show you guys the new work I am going to put out and excited for new works I am going to create thank you.

Fit Guide: Boxy with a slight crop. Size up for a more oversized look. Sleeve lengths will increase with bigger sizes.
