March 18, 2025 updates.
Oh man I'm sorry I didn't get an update out on the 9th long story short i've been waiting on 500 or so pounds of products from our manufacturer
but with sea delivery you can never quite predict delays. It's super frustrating on my end and on your end as well but the good news is that
they finally touched down in New York and are heading to me. I'll have more updates at the end of the week once I know exactly what arrived.
I also want to extend my gratitude to everyone who purchased a steady hands collab cardigan, no cap I definetely feel extremely lonely cleaning up
this mess but knowing there are still people out there who are doing what they can to support keeps me going thank you. There are still some available if you want to pick one up!
As far as progress made this month, i've been able to clear out nearly 2,300$ in refunds and i'm shipping out in hand orders whenever I can. Progress is slow but progress is progress nontheless.
If you haven't gotten an email reply expect it this weekend once I have a better picture of what has arrived. my spirits are high i'm still working and desiging everyday and of course working hard to

Hello everyone I want to apologize for the lack of updates in february truth be told things aren't necessarily going my way but i'm still trying to persevere onward.
starting with the bad news I've been waiting boxes of hoodies from my manufacturer to ship and I have the tracking, unfortunately it hasn't updated since february 18th
if you've ordered with us before this is a common problem we faced with logisitics but rest assured they are on their way and i'll be happy to ship them once they arrive.
I just didn't want to come on here and get peoples hopes up and have to keep saying "ok it's gonna be another week" I needed something concrete. sorry for the lack of communicaton
The last thing we're waiting on is the "Flew too close to the sun shirt" and then i figure in about two weeks we should have the hoodies and tshirts portion part of our progress bar complete

The last portion of items we are waiting on is our cut and sewn section lunar new year break finally ended with our manufacturer and we're still sticking to the end of April deadline.
The elephant in the room is refunds currently I owe 16,090$ in refunds to you guys and growing as I continue to finish responding to emails. I am slowly chipping away at this with profits from my newest project.
I hope that with my next update the number is smaller and smaller.
we have two upcoming collabs that we're paid for and designed back in november as well as one final left over drop when everything is done and shipped out
and I am optimistic that it will bring the balance down to 0.

after answering emails and dms i've been getting a few repeated responses and i'm going to compile them here.
1. Why did you close Get Some Sleep?
it's been an open secret in my circle of friends that I was getting burnt out running a business, as much as I said GSS was my passion project it was a fully incorporated business with employees and monthly overhead.
circa 2023 our overhead was getting bigger and bigger and we had to do more and more drops to sustain it. I've never ran a business before, I didn't have the hindsight, and I made a ton of mistakes trying to keep GSS afloat.
I was doing a decent job of riding the business as it grew but we had two fatal wounds that made it impossible to continue. One of our manufacturers closed down and sent us into a mountain of debt trying to recooperate the losses
and two is a more private matter that is really hard for me to discuss, but i'll give you the skinny just for context. My accountant discovered that someone was working under my social for the past 8 years without paying taxes
the IRS wanted a huge chunk of money and I couldnt file charges for fraud because it turned out to be someone close to me, it was a situation where I was stuck in a rock and a hard place, I had to pay out. This is why
I did that shirt that said 6 good years and 1 shitty one. I tried to keep going but if you've read my last 6 or so instagram posts my mental health was in shambles and ultimately made the impossible decision to shutdown and I am
left picking up the pieces of the mess I made.
2. Why did you start a new project?
I just love making clothes, I spent my last 8 years doing it, it's the one thing in my life that i'm good at. I've learned from my mistakes I don't want to scale anything, I'm just making small runs of things
to pay off my GSS debt. It's all stuff that is in hand or stuff I make by hand.
3. Did you use my gss money to fund your new project?
this is funny cause i've been getting this a lot, the answer is NO! Over the years of making clothes i've made friends with a lot of manufacturers and one of them offered to front me clothing and I took them up on that offer.
4. Get a job.

long story short I am not looking for any sympathy here I made a ton of mistakes and i'm trying my best to offer and come up with solutions you have my most sincere and deepest apologies, and those of you who are still rocking with me have a special
place in my heart forever. I'm also sorry if you haven't recieved a response yet once again I don't have a team anymore and my greatest weakness right now is man power,
