I've been trying to reprogram my mind lately I've been in this crazy rut for the last couple years of my life and it's been exasperated in the past couple months. I have this unfightable urge to just lay in bed and rot or sleep all day, I catch myself saying "I just want it to be 3 months from now" almost like i'm trying to move through time it's been rough. The good thing is that I don't ever lose sight of hope I know that this is a temporary phase for me and something that has been helping me fight this is the act of expressing gratitude as corny as that sounds, I get to hang out with my friends I get to feel the sun on my skin, i get to have a tasty little snack usually ice cream I think it's so easy to get caught up in this abstract bigger picture of what life is suppose to be like and comparison that i'll forget that the most important thing is really what's happening now, in this very moment I am on my laptop on my bed it is a sunny day and I get to ship out orders with my friends and thats all it has to be.
