Misfortune is one of those words like suffering that can be vague, there is no threshold that decides how badly you have experienced misfortune. One day you can stub your toe, and the other day you could lose 100$; misfortune happens to us all. It's hard when misfortune comes in an unorthodox form like god forbid a loved one passes away or a best friend wants to split way. This is a shirt dedicated to experiences like that.

Sometimes the relationships you make aren't meant to last, and you can be 100% certain about something and put your all into it but fate will always have a different path. I think as I get older I've learned to cherish what I have when I have it. I was cheated on in a relationship a few years back, and it was devastating. The betrayal of trust for me was heartbreaking. I'm the kind of person that sees the good in everything, and I think it taught me that misfortune can't be predicted and it comes in every form. We can choose to live in fear of it happening, or we can accept that there's a possibility that it will happen and keep going without allowing it to have the power to consume our lives. Misfortune comes in ever form, I never knew it could come as you.

SIZING NOTES: Intended to be boxy/wide and slightly cropped to sit at the waist. Go with your true size if you're okay with a slight crop. Size up for a bit more length, but it'll run even more oversized than normal. Hoodie runs about 2-3 inches SHORTER AND WIDER than a blank that you would purchase from other brands.
